The idea of emotional apathy truly deserves to be normalized.

The mere thought of this frustrates me. I am not defined by roles like girlfriend, wife, aunt, or mother. Can we acknowledge that I may never view your children and partners as amusing or charming as you do?

Individuals grappling with social anxiety often possess considerable intelligence. They recognize the simplicity and complexity of human behavior. It is bewildering to feel criticized for saying too little, yet also for speaking too much.
