Understanding Our Selection Process

These stories are selected by volunteer editors (who are also writers and readers on our platform), reflecting a collective taste and preference. ILLUMINATION maintains an impartial stance regarding the content published, acknowledging that we cannot feature over a million stories. However, we are committed to amplifying as many remarkable pieces as possible on a near-daily basis, based on the availability of our volunteers.

Stories wield incredible influence, shaping a writer's distinct perspective. For instance, our chief editor was deeply touched by a recent narrative, sparking a vision of how many more writers might share their meaningful stories. This platform serves as an opportunity to explore varied narratives and inspirations, enriching our community with diverse voices.

The Journey of a Heartfelt Narrative

Medium thrives on the vital collaboration between writers and readers, cultivating a unique environment for both groups. Our editors and administrators generously dedicate their time to ensure that every writer can express their voice.

Their commitment involves the daily review and publication of stories without any form of compensation. It's crucial to acknowledge and appreciate their invaluable contributions as we utilize this service.

By engaging with the content through comments, applause, social media shares, and following profiles, you provide immense joy and motivation to these writers. Your support acts as a powerful encouragement for them to create more remarkable works similar to those in this collection.

Out of 145 volunteer editors, a dedicated team of 57 curators conceptualized this service to enhance the visibility of stories. Each curator selects a handful of stories from their daily readings, and our lead ILLUMINATION Curators compile them into collections like this for our readership. We strive to keep these posts concise, limiting the number of stories we feature.

Our lead curators compile their selections into lists, a fantastic feature on Medium. When your stories appear in these lists, you have the opportunity to save, share on social media, and link to your stories, thereby increasing visibility. The curation process is time-intensive, and we genuinely appreciate your support as time permits.

Many editors, including our chief editor Dr. Mehmet Yildiz, also curate lists of stories they've read from our publication. We will feature these curated collections in future volumes.
