How to Embrace Confidence and Ditch the Bootch Attitude

Understanding the Concept of Confidence
This narrative is dedicated to Elaineh, my favorite author on Medium, who inspired me to pen a book on this topic. I plan to self-publish it and offer it in my shop, hoping it will generate significant revenue, which I will donate to worthy charities.
Now, let's delve into the essence of this discussion.
Back in the day, there was a self-help book titled "Why Men Adore Confident Women." While the original wording was more provocative, I prefer to keep things respectful here.

I believe swearing doesn’t belong on Medium, even though I might indulge elsewhere. After all, is there anything more exhilarating than expressing oneself freely?
Now, back to the main point.
The core idea of that book was that men are drawn to women who exude confidence rather than those who allow themselves to be walked all over. The takeaway? Be confident rather than submissive, and you’ll attract affection.
I recall reading this in my twenties, and my immediate reaction was confusion.

The suggestion that I needed to act like a domineering person to win men's hearts felt odd. I tried embodying this attitude for a single day, and it was a dismal experience.
What I discovered is that men aren’t particularly fond of domineering women. Instead, they appreciate confident, genuine individuals. Interestingly, I’ve found that men often behave like gentlemen around ladies, which is a refreshing dynamic.
So, here are three pieces of advice on how to avoid the bootch persona and cultivate confidence instead.

Embrace Your Authentic Self
Accept who you are. Do you enjoy ketchup and butter sandwiches? Celebrate it! Do you prefer instant coffee? Own that preference! When you are content with yourself, it radiates, making you incredibly appealing.

Communicate Honestly
Express your feelings clearly and kindly. If something doesn’t sit right with you, say so politely. Use "I" statements like, "I prefer just ketchup and butter sandwiches without mustard."

Show Respect to Others
This might sound a bit traditional, but I believe in treating men with respect. In today's world, there's often an inclination to lash out, and men can bear the brunt of this. I've personally made the mistake of blaming my partner for issues that were mine to resolve.
It's crucial to treat men with dignity. Simple gestures like saying "please" and "thank you," acknowledging their help, and expressing appreciation can go a long way.

Men, like women, typically don’t favor domineering individuals. Instead, they value women who are self-assured, sincere, and treat them with dignity.

My book is set to release in September 2024. Be sure to get your copy; it’s destined to be a bestseller!
The first video, "The Antidote (Lyrics) - Simple Plan," encapsulates the essence of finding your identity and confidence through its powerful lyrics.
The second video, "Travis Scott - Antidote (Lyrics)," further explores themes of self-acceptance and confidence, making it a perfect companion to this discussion.
The end.
