Understanding the Essence of Our True Self: A Journey Within

Chapter 1: The Misconception of Identity
When you observe your physical form, do you truly see yourself? Do you consider this appearance to be your true identity? The answer is no; your essence transcends mere skin and bone.
We often mistake our physical presence for our true selves, but this is a misleading perception.
When someone calls your name, do you think they are really addressing your entire being? Does your name capture the essence of who you truly are? Again, the answer is no.
Who Are We?
What constitutes the core of our existence? If we are not defined by our bodies, our appearances, or our names, then who are we, truly?
We have been misled into believing a false narrative. Our existence is not confined to our physical forms, nor can it be accurately perceived through our five senses. The essence of our being—our Spirit and Soul—remains beyond the grasp of our physical senses. These senses are limited to the lower frequencies of our omnipresent existence, failing to connect us to our true essence.
Our True Self
We are not merely the objects of perception; we are the Perceiver itself. We are the consciousness that engages in the act of perceiving. We are the underlying force—the Awareness—responsible for all perception!
Awareness is a force that cannot witness itself. It embodies universal sentience, existing as the essence of Being. It simultaneously occupies the role of Perceiver and the space in which all perceived phenomena exist. Thus, it functions as both Awareness and Space.
Perceiving the Self
A pathway to understanding our essence is through contemplation of the spiritual faculties of our Spirit. These powers include the functions of our mind, heart, imagination, and intentions. They are not simple capabilities; they embody divine functions of the ultimate Universal Being.
We are not merely human; we are divine beings, clothed in physical forms. To truly understand ourselves, we must embark on an inward journey, utilizing practices such as contemplation, meditation, and self-reflection. We must close our outer eyes to awaken the inner spiritual vision of the Soul. Otherwise, we remain confined to our physical existence—the lowest aspect of our spiritual journey.
However, even in this introspective journey, we will find ourselves accessing only a limited perspective of our powers. This limitation arises because the functions of Awareness do not permit us to view ourselves as separate from its essence. We cannot think about our thoughts, feel our feelings, or observe the act of seeing as distinct events; they all occur simultaneously.
The practice of contemplation is essential for nurturing the inner eye of Self-Awareness. It serves as a reflective medium that allows us to engage and refine the powers inherent in our being. Without contemplation, we cannot cultivate or expand our spiritual potential; it is essential.
Final Thoughts of Wisdom
We are beings of incredible potential—the embodiment of the Divine on Earth. The more we delve into the essence of our existence, the more aware we become of our inherent power and capabilities. Yet, we are often blinded by our senses and their manifestations. The mind and heart, our organs of perception, can easily deceive us into believing that the physical world is all that exists. This is the illusion—Maya.
Nothing we see, touch, feel, smell, or taste is the ultimate reality. What is truly real is the power that perceives these sensations. The Real is a functional force of Nature. We are manifestations of this force—Neteru—a Divine Intelligence that permeates all dimensions of Space, expressing itself as beings and the cosmos.
