This situation is not only unfortunate but also lucrative for those who exploit it. Self-help gurus have emerged, promising to guide you on the journey to "being yourself." However, the truth is, true self-discovery cannot come from external sources; it requires introspection.

As a result, many of us have become lost, often due to five specific behaviors:

  1. Dishonesty

Why not strive for real change? It can be challenging, but it's essential to confront the truth. You cannot convince yourself of health or intelligence when your actions contradict those beliefs. Acknowledging the lies we tell ourselves is crucial to begin the healing process.
